Hey guys. Here is the updated story that we decided on -
- as camera moves around from the fridge it faces the drawer. The girl moves in front of the drawer and us.
- she opens the draw
- spoons, forks, probably a knife and spork all pop up wanting to be picked.
forks are like soldies
spoons are just over excited
knives are snooty
- spork is in middle of the line up but we (and the girl) can only just see the top of his prongs as hes too small. We can see him jumping for attention.
- forks and spoons move across him and the spork is pushed back and falls down.
- girl picks up spoon and fork and moves away.
- forks/spoons turn and laugh at spork then jump out of the drawer.
- them moving out of the way then reveales the floour pot to the spork across the room.
- BACK TO ORIGINAL STORY UNTIL HE IS CHANGED INTO A FORK
- really cocky and cool as a fork. goes over to forks.
- shadow over face as forks tower over him. his whole character suddenly changes from confident to terrified.
- forks surround him and he runs away scared.
- he asks the pot to turn him back. changes back to a spork realising that he cannot do anything to be accepted.
- lying on side board given up covered in flour.
- girl enters. all the cutlery in the sink stand to attention and want to be picked again but this time the spork doesnt bother trying to be picked. hes given up.
- girl passes the line up of cutlery who look gutted as she walks past them. she puts the spoon and fork she chose to begin with down back on the side.
- she chooses the spork who smiles.
i think these changes are really good guys. i think we are all much more excited about it now and joe if you were there the atmosphere was really good everyone was well up for it again. the changes give the story more dynamic. the viewer also changes there feelings towards the spork as he goes through different emotions which creates a better character. it also allows us to have much more fun in the animation and character of the cutlery. good work all :)
have a great christmas. keep in touch via here, texts and facebook. keep posting things you do and we'll try and have an online meeting sometime over the holidays to see where everyone is :)
